About the role

Cargill is seeking a Senior Travel Agent to manage complex domestic and international travel arrangements while ensuring compliance with corporate travel policies. The role serves as a subject‑matter expert, supporting travelers and internal teams to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective travel experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Book and manage multi‑segment, VIP, and high‑touch travel itineraries worldwide.
• Maintain high accuracy and quality standards across all bookings.
• Monitor travel trends, identify service gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Drive usage of preferred suppliers and maximize program benefits.
• Leverage supplier agreements to deliver optimal value and traveler experience.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to enhance processes and service delivery.
• Follow and review travel documentation, communications, and guidance to ensure alignment with corporate standards.
• Resolve moderately complex travel issues independently and escalate more complex cases as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of experience managing complex and international itineraries.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Preferred: 5+ years of corporate travel experience (agency or in‑house).
• Preferred: Industry certifications such as IATA or ARC accreditation.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with GDS systems (Sabre, Amadeus, Apollo).
• Experience with online booking tools (e.g., Concur, GetThere).
• Reporting, quality‑assurance, and process‑improvement expertise.
