Senior Sales Success Specialist – Remote (Costa Rica)

About the role

Smartsheet is seeking a Senior Sales Success Specialist to support its sales teams throughout the sales cycle. The role is remote‑eligible for candidates residing in Costa Rica and reports to the Manager, Sales Success based in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly forecasting and sales transaction processes for assigned accounts/territories.
• Attend forecast calls, review pipeline in Clari and deal data in Salesforce, and flag potential booking issues.
• Partner with Account Managers to drive pipeline, revenue, and resolve complex deal structures.
• Escalate specialized issues to appropriate partners and coordinate deal reviews.
• Analyze customer licensing, product usage, and identify new revenue opportunities.
• Provide routine reporting on team operations and transaction metrics.
• Share best practices, create SOPs, and deliver training to improve support quality.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Deal Desk, Order Operations, Finance, Legal, Customer Success, Professional Services, and other internal teams.
• Support end‑of‑month, quarter, and year close processes.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of experience in sales operations supporting a cloud/SaaS go‑to‑market organization.
• Strong critical‑thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex deal issues and make independent decisions.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders.
