Senior Quality Program Manager

About the role

Philips is looking for a Senior Quality Program Manager who directs and guides programs made up of several interdependent projects carried out by performing organizations and/or staff, so that the programs deliver their intended benefits and support the Quality Operation's strategy. The role develops and executes program plans, schedules and deliverables, ensures compliance with PSQ policies, procedures and standards, and leads multiple project teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute program plans, schedules and deliverables
• Ensure compliance with the relevant PSQ policies, procedures and standards
• Lead multiple project teams, bringing together people from different parts of the organization to deliver cross-functional and cross-business goals
• Work with many stakeholders, cross-functional and cross-business, depending on the program's objectives
• Apply program management standards, coach others and mitigate risks to keep programs healthy
• Interact with senior management internally and externally, negotiating critical matters and influencing policy

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in life sciences, business administration or engineering
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project/program management; 12-15 years of working experience including project development and execution
• 5+ years of program management experience, preferably supporting a program manager
• Record of project management success using professional methodology
• Knowledge of and exposure to ISO 13485 and FDA regulations for medical devices
• Experience with QMS, CAPA, nonconformance, calibration, PM, process and production controls, warehousing, etc.
• Preferred: experience in artificial intelligence programs, familiarity with ISO 14971 risk management, and comprehensive training in GDP and GMP

The position is office-based, with in-person work at least 3 days per week, and requires living in or near Alajuela, Costa Rica. Relocation benefits are not provided.
