Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer with strong API and integration‑testing expertise to validate an Intermodal integration portal and ensure end‑to‑end information exchange across multiple enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop test scenarios, test cases, and test data from requirements and user stories.
• Perform functional, regression, API, integration, and end‑to‑end testing, including positive, negative, exception and downstream‑system failure scenarios.
• Test REST APIs using Postman or equivalent tools, validating JSON requests/responses, mappings, transformations and error handling.
• Validate backend data using SQL and verify workflows spanning UI, APIs, databases, messaging and integrated systems.
• Document, track, retest and close defects while collaborating closely with developers to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
• Support UAT, regression testing and production‑release validation.

Required profile

• 8+ years of manual QA/testing experience.
• Strong experience with REST API testing and Postman (or similar) tools.
• Proficient in SQL for backend data validation.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration and end‑to‑end testing.
• Understanding of Kafka or other message‑driven integration is highly desirable.
