Senior Industrial Designer

About the role

Ezobord, a specialist in commercial acoustic architecture, is seeking a hands‑on Senior Industrial Designer to work on‑site at its facility in Ochomogo, Cartago. You will act as the technical bridge between design, engineering and manufacturing, collaborating with international teams across Canada and Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Develop production documentation, including detailed blueprints, assembly drawings and CNC‑ready cut files.
• Generate original concepts for architectural ceilings, wall systems, acoustic baffles and custom furniture.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability principles to optimise material use, yield and feasibility.
• Participate in global team meetings to align on renderings, prototypes and installation details.
• Troubleshoot design challenges on the shop floor in real time, working with plant management, quality control and production teams.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and spoken English for frequent international communication.
• Ability to work fully on‑site at the Ochomogo facility.
• Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or a closely related field with a strong portfolio demonstrating physical assembly logic.
