Senior Fullstack Engineer (React/Next.js + Java)

About the role

ImagineX Studio is a product‑oriented software development company that partners with clients from ideation to launch. We are looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to lead the core frontend while also contributing to backend services, working remotely from Costa Rica or El Salvador.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the core frontend using Next.js and React, ensuring performance and maintainability.
• Implement backend features in Java (Java 17+) with Spring framework and micro‑service architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate technical proposals and drive implementation.
• Participate in agile processes, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
• Write reusable code, unit tests (Jest, React Testing Library), and support continuous integration.
• Assist non‑technical team members in resolving production issues.
• Track project status, risks, and communicate updates to leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience building features with React, TypeScript, and Java.
• Strong communication skills for identifying roadblocks and clarifying requirements.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently in a distributed team.
