Senior Frontend Design System Engineer

About the role

Coforge is seeking a Senior Frontend Design System Engineer to build and maintain reusable, scalable UI components for high‑traffic web platforms. The role is fully remote for candidates located in Costa Rica or Peru.

Key responsibilities

• Develop schema‑driven, component‑based solutions using TypeScript/JavaScript and frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.
• Translate UX/UI designs into pixel‑perfect, responsive interfaces that work across browsers.
• Integrate components with data pipelines, runtime rendering engines and CMS platforms.
• Create automated unit, integration and regression tests to ensure component quality.
• Maintain design‑system standards, performance targets and best‑practice guidelines.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and ability to adapt to proprietary frameworks.
• Deep understanding of component architecture, reusable design patterns and CSS/SCSS styling techniques.
• Proven ability to work autonomously on complex codebases and deliver high‑quality solutions.
