Senior Director, Professional Services

About the role

Cornerstone is looking for a Costa Rica-based Senior Director to lead Professional Services across the Americas and turn Costa Rica into a strategic delivery hub within its global Services organization. The role owns regional performance across Services Sales and Delivery and sets up the local team, leadership structure, operating model and culture. It is a hybrid position based in Costa Rica, with periodic travel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Americas Services business and set regional priorities and plans for sales and delivery, accountable for bookings, pipeline, revenue, margin, utilization, capacity, delivery predictability, customer experience and talent.
• Build and scale the Costa Rica organization: workforce plan, organization design, leadership structure, recruiting and onboarding, operating rhythms and culture.
• Define how Costa Rica and the broader Americas organization collaborate across pursuit support, scoping, solution design, staffing, delivery, knowledge management, governance and escalations.
• Improve customer outcomes and time-to-value, strengthen commercial discipline with Sales and Customer Success, and integrate regional teams, global Centers of Excellence and delivery partners.
• Modernize delivery with AI and automation, and develop leaders and a high-performance culture.
• Represent Services with customers and executives, influencing decisions across Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, Partners, Finance and People.

Required profile

• Substantial leadership experience in enterprise software, SaaS, cloud or technology-enabled Professional Services, owning a regional or comparable delivery business.
• Track record of establishing a new delivery location, scaling a regional capability or transforming a Services organization while keeping customer and financial commitments.
• Experience leading distributed, multicultural teams and managing organizational change.
• Experience using systems integrators or delivery partners, and applying AI, automation or knowledge management to improve productivity.

Required skills

• Strong command of bookings, pipeline, revenue, margin, utilization, capacity, backlog, forecasting, quality and customer experience.
• Ability to convert data into timely action and to influence senior stakeholders across functions.
