Senior Data Scientist – Marketing Analytics

About the role

Kepler is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to lead advanced analytics initiatives that drive marketing performance for its clients. You will work closely with internal and cross‑functional teams to improve data delivery, reporting frameworks, and decision‑making across digital media and CRM channels.

Key responsibilities

• Revamp the customer lead scoring model to predict conversion propensity using web behavior data, addressing data lag and interpretability challenges.
• Partner with client digital analytics teams to identify and pitch new statistical and mathematical opportunities.
• Build and run models for Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) readouts, leveraging first‑party and third‑party data (e.g., TransUnion).
• Perform clustering and develop predictive targeting segments to uncover actionable insights.
• Trial and evaluate new proprietary and third‑party platforms for AI capabilities and reporting enhancements.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of professional experience in data science or analytics, preferably within media or marketing analytics.
• Strong command of applied statistics, experimental design, and testing methodologies.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1).

Required skills

• Python programming.
• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Machine learning algorithms (classification, regression, clustering, XGBoost).
• Experience with AWS environments (e.g., Athena).
• Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, KNIME, and Tableau dashboards.
