About the role
Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its Shockwave Medical team in Costa Rica. You will design, build, and maintain modern data pipelines that feed a Snowflake data warehouse and support multiple product domains.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and launch sophisticated data models in Snowflake for diverse use cases.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Fivetran, Python, dbt/Coalesce, and integrate sources such as Oracle Fusion Cloud, Salesforce, and Adaptive Planning.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and observability tools like Monte Carlo.
- Optimize pipeline performance for scalability and efficiency.
- Create dashboards and advanced visualizations in Power BI.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
Required skills
- Snowflake, SQL, Python.
- Fivetran, Databricks, dbt, Coalesce.
- Power BI, Monte Carlo.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and Salesforce data sources.
