Senior Backend Engineer (Java/.NET) – Remote

About the role

Coforge is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services. The role focuses on Java and .NET technologies, delivering scalable micro‑services for clients across LATAM while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Java, Spring Boot.NET Core and .NET Framework.
• Build, containerize, and orchestrate micro‑services with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps, ensuring code quality with SonarQube.
• Monitor applications with DataDog, Grafana and Prometheus, and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile ceremonies to deliver features on schedule.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Java, Spring Boot.NET Core and .NET Framework.
• Proven experience with containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/EKS).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, design patterns and OOP.
• Advanced English communication skills.
