About the role
The company is seeking a Senior Analytics Data Engineer to lead end‑to‑end data processes, from ingestion through to analytics delivery. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, mentoring team members, and driving technical initiatives in an agile environment.
Required profile
- Strong experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data analytics.
- Proven ability to design and implement dimensional data models (star or snowflake schemas).
- Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with business stakeholders.
- Background in consulting or client‑facing roles, with a track record of leading projects and mentoring teams.
Required skills
- Advanced SQL for complex analytical queries.
- Hands‑on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Sigma Computing, Looker.
- Deep knowledge of Snowflake Data Cloud and Databricks.
- Proficiency with dbt or similar transformation frameworks.
- Version control using Git, GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Advanced Python for data analysis and automation.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and data quality testing.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
