Senior Allegro Designer

About the role

Dynamic Test Solutions is seeking a Senior Allegro Designer to lead end‑to‑end PCB design for semiconductor test loadboards. This full‑time remote position involves translating electrical specifications into reliable, high‑performance layouts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform schematic capture, component placement, routing, and design rule checks using Cadence Allegro.
• Collaborate with SI/PI, test, and manufacturing teams to meet signal and power integrity targets.
• Maintain and update component libraries and design documentation.
• Generate manufacturing outputs (Gerber, ODB++) and support fabrication/assembly partners.
• Mentor junior designers and drive continuous improvement of design processes.
• Handle engineering change requests and provide technical support to global customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in high‑speed digital, analog, and mixed‑signal PCB design for semiconductor test equipment.
• Strong understanding of SI/PI constraints, impedance control, and power distribution networks.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Required skills

• Cadence Allegro PCB Designer (schematic capture, library management).
• High‑speed digital, analog, and mixed‑signal layout techniques.
• Signal Integrity and Power Integrity analysis.
• Impedance control, differential pair routing, PDN optimization.
• PCB fabrication and assembly knowledge, DFM/DFT.
• Layer stack‑up design, material selection.
• Generation of Gerber and ODB++ files, version control.
