Semi-Senior Node.js/React Developer (Hybrid)

About the role

UST is looking for a Semi‑Senior Developer to join its software engineering team. You will work on back‑end services, design RESTful APIs and contribute to micro‑services solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back‑end services and REST APIs using Node.js.
• Design and implement micro‑services‑based architectures.
• Collaborate with architecture, QA and business teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, task estimation and code reviews.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, version control and static analysis tools.
• Contribute to technical documentation and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of software development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Node.js (Express.js or Fastify), RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL Server and Git.
• Experience with Jenkins and SonarQube.
• Basic knowledge of API security (JWT, OAuth 2.0) and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Experience working in Scrum/Kanban environments.
