Security Engineer

About the role

SimSpace is looking for a Security Engineer to join its Security Operations Center (SOC). Working under the Director of IT Security, you will help protect the platform’s information systems, applications, and data by monitoring, triaging, and responding to security events.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a front‑line SOC analyst, monitoring alerts across endpoint, network, identity, cloud, and other security platforms.
• Investigate and triage potential threats, determine scope, severity, and impact, and execute initial containment actions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and business teams to improve security processes and ensure compliance with policies.
• Document incidents, produce post‑mortem analyses, and contribute to continuous improvement of security operations.
