Sales Travel Representative (Remote – Costa Rica)

About the role

TravelXM is seeking a remote Sales Travel Representative based in Costa Rica to manage end‑to‑end relationships with U.S. host travel agencies and their independent contractor advisors. The role focuses on opening new host partnerships, recruiting advisors, and converting pipelines into booked Costa Rica land programs across FIT, MICE, and wellness segments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and onboard new host agency partners using a staged ladder (awareness, preferred partner, featured, strategic alliance).
• Submit and manage preferred‑supplier applications, including insurance certificates, contracts, and override schedules.
• Negotiate inclusion in host preferred‑supplier directories and tiered programs.
• Maintain a live map of host decision‑makers in Zoho CRM.
• Prospect and recruit independent‑contractor advisors via Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Clay enrichment.
• Conduct outbound outreach, including 80 cold calls per day, discovery calls, and itinerary presentations.
• Track and report host partnership sign‑ups, active advisor recruitment, and booking volume against defined metrics.

Required profile

• Full‑time, exempt position with immediate start.
• Willingness to travel 30‑40% for conferences, FAM trips, and regional roadshows.
• Based remotely in Costa Rica.
• Ability to work independently and meet measurable sales targets.
