Sales Development Representative

About the role

You will join Cisco’s dynamic sales team to drive new business opportunities and build lasting customer relationships. Working with technology experts, you will help expand Cisco’s customer base by generating and qualifying leads across your territory.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute inbound and outbound prospecting campaigns using phone, email, and social media to build a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
• Analyze prospect industries, company size, and needs to qualify leads and conduct initial outreach with established scripts.
• Maintain accurate lead information in the CRM system and provide actionable insights for the account team.
• Perform needs assessments to align Cisco solutions with customer objectives and ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads.
• Collaborate with peers to optimize lead prioritization and refine generation strategies while following escalation frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of related experience, or Master’s degree with no required experience.
• 4+ years of related experience in a support role.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry is preferred.
