Safety Supervisor

About the role

The Safety Supervisor will lead a high‑performance safety culture at Coca‑Cola’s new Industry 4.0 plant in Liberia, Costa Rica. You will combine strategic leadership with technical expertise to drive risk‑based decisions and ensure a world‑class safety environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001).
• Develop and execute the annual safety program and prevention plans.
• Manage risk assessments, internal audits and readiness for external audits.
• Drive safety‑by‑design, management of change and engineering controls.
• Measure and analyse safety indicators to enable predictive prevention.
• Coordinate training, emergency response and incident investigations.
• Promote a strong, collaborative and sustainable safety culture.

Required profile

• University degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Safety or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of safety experience, preferably in industrial plants (food & beverage experience a plus).
• Experience leading technical teams and working with ISO 45001.
• Advanced English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of risk management, auditing, safety engineering and data analysis.
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Liberia, Guanacaste (100% on‑site – non‑negotiable).
