RTR Subject Matter Expert (Finance)

About the role

Genpact is seeking an RTR Subject Matter Expert to lead and enhance financial reporting within the Record‑to‑Report (RTR) General Ledger function. You will work closely with finance, accounting, and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Approve balance‑sheet reconciliations, manual journal entries, and expense reviews.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, GAAP and Global Financial Standards (GFS).
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver timely financial information.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, evaluate current processes, and implement new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
• Relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably within an ERP environment.
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and Global Financial Standards.
