Repair Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance team in the Cable Manufacturing area is looking for a Repair Maintenance Technician to join a high‑performance group. The role provides technical support for production equipment, ensures preventive maintenance is performed, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide mechanical, electrical and electronic maintenance for production machines.
• Follow preventive‑maintenance schedules and conduct machine verifications.
• Respond to all equipment incidents, measure tools and parts, and use technical drawings to devise solutions.
• Collaborate with the tool‑engineering team to create and design new tools.
• Troubleshoot issues and execute escalations according to established procedures.
• Set up and adjust production machines following standard work instructions.
• Communicate shift‑to‑shift information on machine status, spare parts and safety concerns.
• Work with engineering, quality and operations on improvement projects.
• Lift up to 50 lb, stand for long periods and wear required personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Formal technical education in industrial maintenance, electrotechnics, electronics or electromechanics.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on maintenance experience.
• Intermediate written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Proactive attitude, ability to work under pressure and strong teamwork skills.
• Desirable: knowledge of plastic extrusion processes and IQ/OQ machine validation.
