Repair & Maintenance Engineer – Grecia, Costa Rica

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Repair & Maintenance Engineer to join its MedTech Cardiovascular manufacturing site in Grecia, Costa Rica. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing equipment and facilities that support production processes, ensuring high reliability and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate repair and maintenance activities for production equipment and facilities.
• Implement project plans to meet objectives of the Repair & Maintenance Engineering area.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, Good Documentation Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Serve as primary point of contact for junior team members and supervise experienced business enablers.
• Maintain equipment performance and reliability, supporting capital investment protection.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently on complex assignments with limited supervision.
• Strong judgment and initiative to solve problems and issue recommendations.
• Experience supervising or coordinating teams of technical staff.

Required skills

• Knowledge of repair processes and maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with calibration procedures and Good Documentation Practices.
• Understanding of safety and regulatory compliance in an industrial setting.
