Remote Recording Task: Costa Rican Spanish

About the role

Appen is looking for native Costa Rican Spanish speakers in Costa Rica to take part in a data collection project with CrowdGen. Selected participants become independent contractors in the CrowdGen Community and record 400 sentences by reading the text shown on the screen. The work is fully remote and flexible.

Key responsibilities

• Record 400 sentences in Costa Rican Spanish.
• Read each sentence exactly as it appears on the screen.
• Speak naturally, clearly and at a moderate pace, with a consistent speaking volume.
• Complete all recordings with the same voice and account.
• Make recordings in a quiet environment with no background noise.

Required profile

• Native speaker of Costa Rican Spanish living in Costa Rica.
• Authentic, standard Costa Rican Spanish pronunciation.
• Able to read and record sentences clearly.
• Own recordings only, no voice or person substitution.
