Remote Game Developer (Java / libGDX)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Game Developer to create and enhance simple 2D game features using Java and the libGDX framework. You will work closely with AI specialists to design engaging interactions and help collect high‑quality training data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise 2D game components with Java and libGDX.
• Collaborate with AI specialists to integrate interactive elements and gather training data.
• Implement core mechanics such as sprite management, game loops, and input handling.
• Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and help improve internal coding standards.
• Document technical processes and development workflows for cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of Java programming and object‑oriented principles.
• Hands‑on experience with libGDX through coursework, personal projects, or prototypes.
• Understanding of fundamental game development concepts like game loops, sprites, and input management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear technical documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fully remote team environment.
• Demonstrated interest and initiative in building games or interactive applications.
