Quality Engineer III

About the role

The Quality Engineer III will provide quality support to manufacturing in Abbott's Vascular Division, ensuring delivery of the highest quality products. The role is based at the Coyol Free Zone and works the B shift (Mon‑Fri 3‑10 pm, Sat 7 am‑2:30 pm).

Key responsibilities

• Apply quality principles, analyze records, prepare reports and recommend improvements.
• Conduct inspection, verification and validation of components or materials used in development processes.
• Identify and address recurring problems related to product quality or testing reliability.
• Plan and conduct small projects, perform tests/experiments, gather data and report findings.
• Resolve production process deviations and non‑conformances (CAPA) and develop procedures, maintain FMEAs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or related discipline (or equivalent technical experience).
• Minimum 4 years experience in medical device or related industry.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
• Accountability, diligence, resourcefulness and customer focus.
• Effective communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations for medical devices.
• Experience with statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
