Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that product quality standards and client satisfaction are met throughout the software lifecycle. Working in a hybrid QA team, you will combine manual testing with automation initiatives to continuously improve quality processes across projects.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑own project quality based on requirements and design specifications.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, project managers and QA peers to achieve project goals.
• Analyze user stories and tickets to guarantee test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
• Design, create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, traceability matrices and QA documentation.
• Execute functional, smoke, regression, exploratory and non‑functional testing, including API testing and integration validation.
• Participate in both manual testing activities and QA automation initiatives.
• Log, track and manage defects using Jira or similar tools and communicate results, risks and metrics to stakeholders.
• Support regression testing cycles, effort estimation, onboarding and knowledge sharing within the QA practice.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
• Ability to identify, communicate and escalate risks effectively.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
