Project Manager – Senior & Program Manager Roles

About the role

We are hiring two senior leaders – a Sr. Project Manager and a Program Manager – to drive high‑visibility technology initiatives for our clients in Costa Rica and Mexico. The roles operate within a self‑managing team, using primarily waterfall methods while applying agile practices where appropriate.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex projects, building and maintaining detailed schedules, baselines and budgets.
• Engage senior stakeholders with clear, strategic communication and provide well‑structured recommendations for decision‑making.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external vendors, managing dependencies and ensuring deliverables meet scope, time and budget constraints.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues, tracking portfolio health metrics for leadership.
• Mentor teammates, share best practices and raise overall delivery standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 6+ years of project management experience for the Sr. Project Manager role or 9+ years for the Program Manager role.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Proven track record delivering complex waterfall projects end‑to‑end, including budget and schedule ownership.
• Ability to lead without formal authority in a collaborative, self‑managing environment.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of waterfall project methodology.
• Familiarity with agile/Scrum practices.
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT service management concepts.
