Project Engineer – Electromechanical & Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Engineer to lead field projects in electromechanical, mechanical, civil, or construction domains. The role involves supervising technical work, ensuring project delivery on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise projects, technical tasks, and on‑site installations, guaranteeing compliance with schedules, quality, budget, and profitability.
• Review and validate drawings, work orders, and technical requirements for fabrication and installation.
• Provide technical advice and participate in field visits for high‑impact projects.
• Coordinate personnel, materials, suppliers, and involved areas throughout project execution.
• Propose value‑engineered solutions and improvements to optimize resources, costs, and processes.
• Ensure adherence to technical, quality, and occupational safety regulations.
• Lead the technical team, set priorities, and monitor achievement of objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Civil, Construction engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience directing projects or supervising technical, construction, or field installation work.
• Demonstrated ability to lead personnel.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to join CFIA when applicable.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP (desirable).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Scrum certification (desirable).
