Production Planner II

About the role

The Production Planner II works closely with logistics, finance, operations and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate data collection and inventory management, supporting the business in meeting customer orders and inventory targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily, weekly and monthly production plans for all SKUs, aligning schedules with customer orders and inventory goals.
• Identify optimal run rates, monitor sub‑assembly plans, and ensure raw‑material supply through coordination with procurement.
• Support new product introductions by enabling codes in planning systems and scheduling parts for launches.
• Provide regular reporting on plan performance, track variances, and develop mitigation actions for back‑orders or line disruptions.
• Lead communication on capacity changes, manage planning clerks, and oversee WIP limits for finished goods and sub‑assemblies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in production planning or supply chain.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management.
