Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager leads the manufacturing team to ensure equipment, personnel, and processes align with the company’s production plan. This role coordinates with engineering, materials, sales, marketing and support to meet revenue and customer satisfaction targets while upholding quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organize daily workload for production personnel through line supervisors.
• Select, train and develop new production staff.
• Create and maintain process documentation in line with company policies.
• Allocate workstations, support new workstation implementations, and manage overtime or extra shifts.
• Monitor production processes, adjust schedules with the Master Scheduler, and coordinate equipment maintenance.
• Implement Lean Six‑Sigma methodologies and monitor efficiency, quality and troubleshooting.
• Manage employee conduct and performance per company policies.
• Establish and control departmental budgets and forecasts.
• Support and enforce Resonetics quality policies and environmental, health and safety guidelines.
• Conduct performance appraisals and oversee timesheets for production personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar production role.
• At least 5 years in a manufacturing managerial position.
• College degree in industrial engineering, management, industrial technology, business administration or equivalent.

Required skills

• Experience with FDA/GMP or ISO 13485 requirements.
• Knowledge of laser workstation setup and operation.
• Lean Six‑Sigma Green Belt certification.
