Procurement Category Manager

About the role

The Procurement Category Manager will help build a new global capability from the ground up, shaping the future of our Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence. This role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to create dashboards, define KPIs, and launch digital initiatives across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions that translate business requirements into actionable metrics.
• Scope, lead, and deliver cross‑functional projects that improve supply‑chain performance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and new digital programs.
• Partner with digital project teams, transformation teams, supply‑chain excellence groups, IT, and regional/global leaders to gather requirements and align initiatives.
• Define processes, frameworks, and performance‑management practices for a newly established function.

Required profile

• Strong communicator comfortable working with diverse stakeholders across functions, regions, and leadership levels.
• Strategic thinker who can shape how a Center of Excellence operates.
• Execution‑oriented builder mindset with a track record of turning ideas into tangible outputs.
• Technical aptitude to work with digital tools, analytics platforms, and dashboard development.
• Experience collaborating across functions and thriving in ambiguous, high‑autonomy environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
