Portfolio Project Specialist

About the role

Huntsman is looking for a Portfolio Project Specialist to support the Advanced Materials Division in Costa Rica. Reporting to the Product Portfolio Manager, you will help optimize the Americas product portfolio through cross‑functional coordination and data management.

Key responsibilities

• Execute product portfolio management processes and track lifecycle performance.
• Lead cross‑functional portfolio projects, coordinating Commercial, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and other stakeholders.
• Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to evaluate portfolio costs and support business decisions.
• Manage product portfolio information in SAP and Master Data systems, including Material Master changes.
• Support the innovation stage‑gate process and monitor project‑related inventory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Marketing, Product Management or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years experience in chemical manufacturing (preferred).
• Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.
• Office presence in Heredia on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (additional days as needed).

Required skills

• Experience with SAP, especially the Material Master module.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Fluent English communication (written, reading, oral).
