About the role
Cargill is seeking a night‑shift Logistics and Distribution Operative for its San Rafael, Alajuela facility. The role supports production by handling inventory, operating material‑handling equipment, and ensuring timely order dispatch while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Control inventory levels, monitor product dates, and maintain cold‑room cleanliness.
- Organize warehouse space and manage inbound truck deliveries, including document verification.
- Prepare and execute product shipments to customers.
- Operate handheld devices, hydraulic and electric forklifts for material movement.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- Follow all quality, food safety, occupational health, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Required profile
- At least 18 years old with completed primary education.
- Ability to read and write Spanish fluently.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as bending, climbing stairs, and kneeling.
Required skills
- Handheld device operation.
- Hydraulic forklift operation.
- Electric forklift operation.
