About the role

Cargill is seeking a Production Operator for its food division in San Rafael, Alajuela, Costa Rica. This permanent, day‑shift position supports the manufacturing of a wide range of food ingredients and branded products.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery and industrial equipment according to established procedures.
• Perform repetitive, physically‑intensive tasks while maintaining quality, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Use hand tools and manual machines to handle product flow.
• Distribute product to various process stations, pack, store, and prepare finished goods for dispatch.
• Adapt to different work areas as needed to meet production targets.
• Follow corporate regulations and report any issues.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and write Spanish fluently.
• Physical capability to bend, squat, twist, and lift up to 25 kg safely.
• Comfort working in environments with noise, dust, or chemicals.

Required skills
