Neuroscience QA Lead (Remote)

About the role

This contract, hourly position is fully remote and focuses on leading quality assurance for neuroscience and cognitive science AI training projects. You will ensure that AI‑generated content meets rigorous scientific and ethical standards while guiding a distributed team of trainers and QA specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across neuroscience AI training projects.
• Review AI‑generated neuroscience/cognitive science content and evaluate it against detailed rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback to contributors and ensure adherence to project guidelines.
• Identify recurring quality issues, communicate updates to trainers and QA staff, and maintain documentation.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and reactivate those with inconsistent participation.
• Collaborate with the AI data services team to align training data with client expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent professional background in neuroscience, cognitive science, psychology, neurobiology, or a closely related field.
• Strong command of English for clear written communication and feedback.
• 3+ years of experience in neuroscience or cognitive science research, teaching, laboratory work, academic review, or related scientific workflows.
• Deep understanding of neural systems, cognition, perception, memory, learning, decision‑making, neuroanatomy, and research methods.
