Medical Copywriter

About the role

Roche is seeking a Medical Copywriter to join its growing medical writing team within the Services & Solutions Centre. You will create high‑quality medical and commercial content for a variety of digital formats, supporting global communication strategies across therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop medical content for emails, videos, banners, infographics, websites, patient information, HCP education materials, conference presentations, newsletters, medical reports and PR materials.
• Identify content needs, draft briefs, ask probing questions and flag potential delivery issues.
• Produce publication‑ready material with accurate referencing, self‑editing and marked‑up packs that preserve source authenticity.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to regulatory frameworks and agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients and stakeholders to generate compelling content and innovative ideas.
• Prepare content for approval in VVPM, including comprehensive referencing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in medical sciences or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in medical writing, communications or a similar role (internships and academic projects are valued).
• Native‑level written and spoken English; additional fluency in Spanish, Italian, German or French is a strong advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail, scientific rigor and consistency.
