Media Associate (Investment)

About the role

Join Critical Mass as a Media Associate focused on media billing and investment support. You will ensure accurate invoicing, maintain media budget records, and assist the investment team throughout campaign activation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain oversight of client media budgets, develop billing schedules and communicate them.
• Review and audit Media Authorization Forms and vendor invoices.
• Support SOX testing with documentation and sample selection.
• Reconcile client billing and vendor invoices in the finance system and manage month‑end backup documentation.
• Prepare ad‑hoc internal and external reports.
• Coordinate campaign timelines, assist with campaign setup, buy entry, and ongoing maintenance to align with client‑approved budgets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate billing status updates.
• Contribute to process‑improvement and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, marketing, media or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, media operations or a similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy when handling financial and billing data.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and large data sets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with foreign‑currency transactions.
• Experience with Mediaocean, Prisma or other media planning/buying financial tools (a plus).
