Mathematics Teacher – Secondary School

About the role

The Mathematics Teacher will plan, deliver and assess secondary‑level mathematics instruction, fostering critical, logical and analytical thinking within an international learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and academic programmes.
• Develop instructional units, projects and resources that promote meaningful mathematics learning.
• Teach algebra, geometry, statistics, probability, calculus and related topics appropriate to assigned grade levels.
• Use differentiated strategies to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
• Integrate technology tools and digital resources to enhance visualisation and understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Design and administer formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance and academic performance.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and guardians and participate in school meetings and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Licentiate degree in Mathematics Education or a related field.
• 2–3 years of secondary‑school mathematics teaching experience.
• Experience designing curricula, using project‑based and differentiated instruction.
• Proficiency in competency‑based assessment and performance analysis.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in multicultural, international settings.
• Commitment to safeguarding, continuous professional development and the school’s values.

Required skills

• Proficiency in educational technology tools.
• Knowledge of mathematics software and data analysis tools.
