Master Scheduler (Data Analytics) – Orthopedics

About the role

The Master Scheduler will develop and maintain a constrained Master Production Schedule for Johnson & Johnson's Orthopedics business in Grecia, Costa Rica, ensuring optimal resource utilization and supporting global network planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a monthly constrained Master Production Schedule, perform site capacity planning, and lead Rough‑Cut Capacity Planning and Latest Estimate processes.
• Apply advanced planning systems (SAP/APO) and offline tools for scenario modelling, partner with data analytics teams to build KPI dashboards, and drive digital transformation projects.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for supply disruptions, ensure compliance with regulatory and trade requirements, and communicate issues to management.
• Coordinate production scheduling, frozen period horizons, finished‑goods pull‑forward processes, and participate in lead‑time reduction initiatives.
• Support Integrated Business Planning forums, influence decisions at Director/VP levels, and act as liaison among customers, colleagues, and vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Data Analytics or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain planning or scheduling within a global manufacturing environment.
• Experience with AI/ML‑based forecasting, data visualization, and KPI dashboard development.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP/APO or equivalent advanced planning tools.
• Strong analytical and data reporting skills, including forecast modelling.
• Advanced MS Excel and data‑mining capabilities.
• Experience building KPI dashboards and driving digital initiatives.
