Manufacturing Quality Lab Technician

About the role

The Manufacturing Quality Lab Technician performs daily mechanical and electrical testing to ensure product compliance with industry standards. The role operates on a shift from Monday to Saturday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, and collaborates closely with product engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tests according to industry standards and the provided test plan.
• Prioritize and manage multiple testing projects simultaneously.
• Machine parts using conventional milling, turning, and grinding based on drawings with specific tolerances.
• Review test results to support accurate reporting.
• Perform initial root‑cause/failure analysis when required.
• Collaborate with product engineers on test outcomes and configurations.

Required profile

• Previous technical experience, preferably in precision mechanics or conventional part grinding.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret geometric tolerances.
• Comfort with light lifting (up to 20 lb frequently, up to 25 lb from floor to waist).
• Willingness to work in environments with chemical exposure and mandatory safety equipment.
• Ability to sit or stand for at least 90 minutes continuously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with precision machining and conventional grinding.
• Blueprint and tolerance reading.
• Basic knowledge of CAD or SolidWorks (preferred).
• Familiarity with 3D part printing (preferred).
