Manufacturing Engineer – Remote Contract ($40‑$65/hr)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer to join our global project team on a contract basis. This remote position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in process improvement, Six Sigma, and quality assurance across diverse manufacturing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide detailed feedback on manufacturing processes and best practices based on extensive domain experience.
• Review and develop Six Sigma process maps, root‑cause analysis reports, and production line efficiency models.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements in assembly line and mechanical engineering operations.
• Offer expertise in quality assurance (QA) and operational excellence strategies.
• Create and review documentation for operational procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with a global project team, communicating complex concepts in clear, concise English.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, quality assurance, or mechanical engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise with Six Sigma, process mapping, and root‑cause analysis.
• Extensive experience optimizing production or assembly line efficiency.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to document, explain, and justify technical decisions succinctly.
