Manager, Sr Development Facilitator (Java & AWS)

About the role

The Deloitte Technology Academy (DTA) is seeking a Manager, Senior Development Facilitator to lead Java and AWS training programs in San Jose, Costa Rica. You will join the Faculty & Delivery team, collaborating with global subject‑matter experts to design and deliver high‑impact technical learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on Java (core, advanced, Spring Framework, microservices) and AWS.
• Design curriculum, instructional strategies, labs, assessments, and presentations aligned with industry standards.
• Mentor participants through real‑world programming challenges and provide timely feedback.
• Implement evaluation mechanisms to track learner progress and continuously improve content.
• Stay current with Java, testing frameworks, and development tools, integrating new advancements into training.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to co‑create innovative programs that meet business needs.

Required profile

• Strong background in Java development and familiarity with AWS services.
• Experience designing and delivering technical training, both virtual and in‑person.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Willingness to travel as needed for on‑site training sessions.
