Manager, License Compliance

About the role

The Manager, License Compliance leads Autodesk’s effort to protect its intellectual property by ensuring customers adhere to licensing agreements. This position combines strategic planning, audit execution, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive compliance and support revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee telemetry analysis, audit preparation, and resolution workflows across all customer segments.
• Maintain data integrity, monitor pipeline health, and ensure timely handling of compliance cases.
• Lead customer communications from operational to executive levels, presenting findings and negotiating resolutions.
• Coach and develop compliance teams globally, creating onboarding, training, and succession plans.
• Allocate resources based on strategic priorities, manage staffing plans, and coordinate cross‑functional support for high‑value engagements.
• Own compliance‑driven revenue forecasting, integrating forecasts into go‑to‑market and financial planning.
• Identify risks and opportunities to inform strategic decisions and influence global account planning.

Required profile

• Proven ability to foster collaboration, assign tasks strategically, and motivate teams.
• Strong communication skills with experience delivering strategic messages and influencing stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of licensing models, audit methodologies, and compliance ecosystems.
• Analytical mindset using telemetry and audit data to mitigate revenue risks.
• Experience partnering with sales, customer success, legal, marketing, and operations.
