About the role
Pan-American School is seeking a dynamic, experienced Learning Support Teacher to join its secondary school team (grades 6‑12). The role focuses on providing both academic and socio‑emotional support to assigned students, helping them integrate smoothly into classroom life.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver individualized academic assistance tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide immediate socio‑emotional interventions to support behavioral integration.
- Coordinate and collaborate with subject‑area teachers to align support strategies.
- Conduct educational interventions inside or outside the classroom as required.
Required profile
- Student or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Needs, or Pedagogy.
- Relevant experience in education or a related field.
- Fluent written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Required skills
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
