Lead Cloud Network Engineer

About the role

As a Lead Cloud Network Engineer at Experian, you will design and implement cloud‑native and hybrid networking solutions across AWS, Azure and other public cloud platforms. You will work closely with platform, security and application teams to ensure resilient, secure and self‑service‑enabled network services that support large‑scale cloud adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain cloud networking architectures, including AWS VPCs, Azure VNets, subnets, routing tables, NAT, IGW and firewalls.
• Design hub‑and‑spoke, transit VPC/VNet and multi‑account/subscription models.
• Implement hybrid connectivity such as AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, site‑to‑site VPN and client VPN.
• Develop routing strategies using BGP, static routing and route propagation across multi‑cloud environments.
• Build shared network services like transit gateways, virtual WAN, centralized ingress/egress, DNS, NTP, IPAM and firewall services.
• Automate network infrastructure as code with Terraform and CloudFormation, creating reusable modules and blueprints.
• Integrate network automation into CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Embed security, governance and observability controls, partnering with security teams on Zero Trust and least‑privilege models.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating complex cloud and hybrid network architectures.
• Strong collaboration skills with platform, security and SRE teams.
• Ability to translate networking requirements into automated, reusable IaC solutions.
