Lead Associate Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Associate Operations to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and support the procurement function at WNS. The role will act as a central hub coordinating projects, stakeholders and data to deliver measurable savings and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end strategic sourcing projects (RFx events, negotiations, renewals) and maintain detailed project plans, timelines and milestones.
• Own the PMO operating cadence, preparing materials and tracking outcomes for weekly pipeline reviews, monthly sourcing forums and finance/sourcing deal reviews.
• Serve as the primary liaison among Sourcing, Procurement Operations, Finance, Legal and business owners, ensuring alignment on status, risks and next steps.
• Maintain accurate spend and savings records, reconcile committed versus realized savings and support quarterly and annual procurement reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements, standardise templates and playbooks, and reduce cycle time and manual effort.
• Administer and optimise procurement and sourcing systems (e‑sourcing, contract and intake tools), ensuring data integrity and driving user adoption.
• Support supplier onboarding, contract renewals and the broader contract lifecycle by tracking key dates, obligations and approvals.
• Build and maintain dashboards and KPI reports (pipeline coverage, savings, cycle time, on‑time execution) for leadership visibility.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent project‑management skills, capable of running multiple workstreams simultaneously and delivering on schedule.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management abilities across cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Experience with procurement or sourcing processes and tools.
• Proficiency in building dashboards and reporting metrics.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management.
