Junior Web Developer

About the role

Under close supervision, the Junior Web Developer will support the design, development, and maintenance of basic portals and websites. The role focuses on delivering functional, engaging web solutions while ensuring data quality and system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, schedule, build, and deliver new or enhanced portals/websites, meeting quality, cost, and timing targets (25%).
• Contribute to the development of existing and new applications by analyzing requirements and identifying improvement opportunities (25%).
• Research and propose technical enhancements to improve website/portal quality and supporting infrastructure (20%).
• Create draft website maps, application models, and page templates for senior review (15%).
• Maintain assigned portals/websites using content management tools and digital media, ensuring technical continuity and standards compliance (15%).

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work under detailed guidance and follow established processes.
