Junior Site Administrative Engineer – Santa Teresa

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Junior Site Administrative Engineer to join our on‑site team in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. The role supports the construction of a high‑end luxury accommodation project, handling daily reporting, documentation, and coordination with site engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and enter daily report data (weather, personnel, equipment, work completed, materials, inspections, safety issues) into the project software.
• Organise technical documentation, project plans, RFIs, CVIs, non‑conformance reports and HSE notices.
• Ensure compliance with safety, industry and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, variations and inspections.
• Step in for the Site Engineer when required, attend high‑level meetings and contribute to strategic decisions.
• Identify operational problems and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 2 years experience in construction site roles such as Inspector, Project Engineer, Field Engineer or Site Supervisor.
• Proficiency in English for communication with international management.
• Strong knowledge of Costa Rican building codes, regulations and construction practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore).
• Ability to use other construction software and digital reporting tools.
• English language proficiency (written and spoken).
• Understanding of local building codes and regulations.
