Junior Key Account Manager

About the role

P&F Costa Rica Flower Farms is seeking a Junior Key Account Manager to join its commercial team and gradually take ownership of a portfolio of key retail accounts in the United States. You will start with a 120‑day development program, working alongside an experienced Key Account Manager to learn products, customers, and internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Defend existing business by anticipating risks in sales, margin, quality or service.
• Develop accounts profitably through new programs, products, categories, seasons, stores and regions.
• Diversify by identifying new leads for the Business Development team and taking over new accounts after three months.
• Connect customer needs with Production, Quality, Logistics, Pricing, and Customer Service.
• Maintain up‑to‑date account information, opportunities and risks in the commercial management system.
• Travel to the United States to visit customers.

Required profile

• Valid U.S. visa and ability to travel to the United States.
• Full professional English proficiency (B2+/C1).
• On‑site presence at the Costa Rica office and farms, with a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Legal authorization to work in Costa Rica.
• 2+ years of sales or commercial experience, preferably B2B.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, Industrial Engineering or related field.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel.
• Experience with a CRM system.
