Junior Associate Financial Accountant & Reporting

About the role

Provide support to the finance team with month‑end close, intercompany balances, FMC and financial reporting for USMT entities in the U.S. market, following Publicis Groupe policies and guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Process expense approvals, manage job creation and maintenance, handle time transfers, resolve job and timesheet issues, support job‑closure accounting, and update weekly burn reports.
• Maintain financial, invoicing, and forecasting trackers; monitor billing and forecast activity; identify discrepancies; and support timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Support the monthly close process, including revenue recognition, client invoicing, account reconciliation, and resolution of financial discrepancies.
• Execute periodic financial tasks such as monthly, quarterly and year‑end activities in line with departmental timelines.
• Prepare and post low‑to‑medium complexity journal entries for USMT entities, meeting group closing deadlines.
• Update and maintain financial reports for assigned accounts during the monthly closing process.
• Reconcile intercompany account balances and investigate related‑party transaction discrepancies.

Required profile

• University studies in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• B2/C1 level English (oral and written).
• 1–2 years of experience with the accounting cycle, intercompany processes, month‑end closing, financial reporting and journal entry review.
• Proficiency in Excel.
