Jr Appeals Collector

About the role

Auxis is hiring a Jr Appeals Collector to follow up on all appeals submitted to the payer for timely payment and resolution. The role involves pursuing payment on open appeals and meeting productivity and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Pursue additional payment on open appeals by telephone, online or through payment package processes with payers and patients
• Overcome objections to claim payment and gain commitment through concise, factual collection techniques
• Escalate accounts to the appropriate people at the payer and via SSC management, including those with no timely response
• Communicate trends to management and maintain accurate documentation of actions taken on each account
• Meet productivity and quality standards and complete all educational requirements
• Follow the Code of Conduct and the mission and value statement; other duties as assigned

Required profile

• High school diploma
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service positions
• English-Spanish oral and written at C1 level or above
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with attention to detail and comfort in a high-volume environment
• Polite, tactful and friendly character
